BONDED

Bonded is an old-fashionedy word that refers to servitude. To say that a person is bonded to another means, in fact, that the bonded person is the other's slave, servant or bondsman. It doesn't refer to marriage. If you mean married, say married. Not bonded. Tolkien used the verbs "marry" and "wed", and so can we.
